hello *wipes off cobwebs* long time no see dear old blog hahah!

not much updates recently cos my social life is still zilch #blamework

heading off to Bali this coming Friday for my Indo cousin's wedding till Monday and still emo-ing over not being able to go for New Evolution Tour.

anw, new nail polishes!

went to *SCAPE Underground to get my weekly dose of nail polish with my mum in tow (actually it's a conspiracy to make her pay for all my purchases muahahaha! I'm kidding really where got so yao shiu)

and... came home with some from the China Glaze Cirque Du Soleil collection.

so NOTW was Def Defying as the base with Whirled Away over it.

pretty awesome! totally in love with the green colour even though I hate green (ironic cos I'm wearing my green hoodie from AE right now in the office.

met up with Eelin & Alan for dinner last Monday and we went to Bangkok Jam at Wheelock Place.

colleague recommended it to me so since no one had any idea where to go makan in town, we settled for that place :D

quite yummy, altho abit jelak if you eat it alone on its own cos that's what I did and I was like.. nomming on the chicken wings we ordered as sides quite frequently.

I really liked the cashew nuts they fried it with! YUMMY!

it was a nice meal, catching up and after that we had to walk all around bloody Orchard Road cos Alanie wanted to buy Strawberry Kit Kat wtf for his SP.

Eelin and I were kp-ing the entire time (LOL!) wondering why we never got such good things from him despite being friends for so long hahahhaha!

last Friday was SMTown in SG and we went in the end >_<

Jace, Sinhui & I finally caved in on Thursday night and bought tickets off other people.

they were all complimentary tickets D: boohooooooo. heartpain but DONGHAE IS LOVE.

I was quite tired on Friday cos Thursday night after work went to City Plaza with my colleague to have dinner and to collect my bag + buy my sandals & shoes haha.

I think I converted her into a City Plaza person already lol.

so I was saying, uber tired then after City Plaza went home to search for tickets online.

found them and the next day I asked to leave work early hahaha.

made the bf come pick me up at work and send me down to the floating platform.

thank you bff & Juyin's sis for queuing up and buying the merchandise for me :)

waited for Jace to arrive then we went in.

uber scared it was gonna rain cats and dogs and they'd cancel the concert but heng ah, it stopped in time and started at around 7 plus.

it was such a YOLO moment cos such a last minute decision to go. 

Sinhui was like seated together with Wanjun at another place and I was with Jace & Laura cos we couldn't get tix together.

PLUS IT STARTED TO RAIN SUPER HEAVILY TOWARDS THE END AND THERE WAS LIGHTING AND THUNDER T.T

totally got soaked to the core and freezing as the artistes sang.

I jived to Sexy, Free & Single in my poncho while under an umbrella hahahha.

was I glad I went? hmmmm... not so actually.

hated the venue. organiser could have gotten a better venue ( I mean, monsoon season, in an outdoor area? WTF?) plus the bad management of... everything la.

I'm lucky I had friends who queued and got the merch for me but I really pity those who didn't get :(

All Good Things Must Come To An End

so quick post on the past couple of days.

some new eatery opened at Changi Biz Park so colleague and I went to try it out one day.

total cost for the entire meal was like $20 and it tasted so horrible D:

never going back ever again.

I mean the mantou looked promising with the chilli crab sauce but the mantous were cold and the chicken, don't get me started on it /fumes

grahhhhh. went back to Superstar K for dinner cos was in the vicinity (went to have my facial!) with my mum and the bf came after his lesson to join us too.

tried something new this time and it was the mul naeng myun!

I like naengmyun. It's so refreshing,esp in the hot weather.

we tried this last winter when we were in Korea and altho it was abit mad of us to do so (I mean -2 degrees liao still eat something with ice), we just went ahead and ordered it la.

last Thursday was another colleague's birthday and she's leaving the company soon so we went to T2 for Swensen's cos they had a free ice cream for the birthday girl! :D

I say girl cos we are all young at heart HAHAHAHAHA.

been craving their foie gras for ages! homg. it's to die for seriously.

I didn't order a main that night cos wasn't too hungry.

was feeling quite stuffed from the heavy lunch at Swensen's so ordered a soup and the angel hair pasta with tiger prawn and of cos... foie gras!

the 3 of them had the same thing for their mains: the duck confit.

please try this if you ever go there!

btw, their angel hair pasta portion was really small. then again, it's just a starter ok, not a main!

they wanted to go Man Ji for dessert but I didn't want cos that's what we had the other time too >_<

so I suggested going to have yoghurt instead at Liang Seah St and we went to Swirl Art

it's always nice to go out with friends! esp now that everyone has started working, it really takes alot of effort to meet-up once in awhile to chill and bitch abit lol.

maisie lost weight can. the rest of us looked like we all put on 3 kg minimum FOL D:

so on Saturday I had an awesome time meeting up with my dearest cousin at City Plaza to shop!

we had lunch at Arnold's together with the bf cos he drove and sent us there and decided he wanted to go shopping too lol.

I spent all his money too as well on shopping cos I've been complaining that I've been spending too much lately on him hahahaha #welldone

managed to grab a few stuff altho feeling not as shiok.

I wanted to get some shoes but they all ran out in my size :(

gonna head back prob next week to check out if they have new arrivals in my size!

anyone wanna come with me? :D hehe.

so after the shopping trip, dropped the cousin home and I went for my manicure at Toa Payoh.

yes, the package I signed up in August has not been utilised at all.

even the manicurist said so. super loudly. it's alr bloody November! grrrr.

gave my nails a rest for 3-4 days cos the glitter polish really took a toll on my nails.

I've been diligently applying cuticle nail oil to nourish my nails alot and even at work.

my colleague thought I was abit mad what heck la hahaha!

went alone this time cos the cousin was busy studying for her quiz on Monday and no one else wanted to come.

I did try to get the bf to come but he didn't want to hahahahaha!

It's quite a thing to really sit there and let other people do all the hard work just to beautify yourself.

quite an awesome feeling actually lol!

gonna go for another session prolly after I come back from Bali.

since signed up for package anw. gonna use it finish then.... research on DIY home treatments LOL!
