went for NUS Material Science & Engineering admission interview yesterday.
slept late the night before,preparing my portfolio at sinhui's suggestion.
so dressed up in formal wear and trudged to NUs.
arrived too early so i sat at the bus stop to rot.
totally nervous but met some SP ppl from DCHE so we chatted.
interview was so fucked up.
heard from sloth before that this dept is darn difficult to get in even for A level students.
you need 4 As just to enter la.
so i wasn't really keeping my hopes high but still,after going in it totally shocked me.
not gonna reveal what they asked lest i get sued or smth la hahah!

yeah after that met ys to chat and marce to makan cos his itp at imre there.
went to grandma hse to rot before tuition after that.
ytd on the way home the bus broke down.

and today while chasing the bus to go ubi for driving,my earpiece got stuck at the bus stop pole.
AND THE LEFT EAR CAME OUT :(

so now my iPod is earpiece-less cos of my eagerness to get to driving on time.

but driving was fun today cos i learned new stuff: reverse + u-turn.

whooooopie-dooooo! :D
ok,nth much lately except that i've been going for driving non-stop for 3 consecutive days already.
yes,and in total i have stalled the car 9 times and had my lane cut a good 5 times.
rarhhhhhhhhhs. i'm still as jobless as ever.
have totally given up on landing myself a job.
i shall just use whatever free time i have to either hibernate at home or spend it with marce or go driving.
been on a short fuse lately.
quarrelling with bf quite a bit lately.
so sorry baby :(
i get mad at the slightest things,be it from anyone.
but somehow marce seems to be the one on the receiving end of it most of the time.
anw went out for steamboat today with yongxuan,ying,elda,shuting and weidong to collect pay hahah!
after that breko cafe at bugis.
went to the new shopping mall next to bugis village.
it's darn huge + movies are now $6 nia.

i'm feeling so pms-sy now.
ugh!
my arms are totally aching from last night's wii session with nigel,rachelle and marce.
omg f-ing painful la!
stayed till like 12mn at rach's place and then went home.
took my old com + ipod speakers from marce place and cabbed home.
totally badmooding cos i caught a cold last night and lack of sleep.
plus i was sleeping happily in my bed then mum came to wake me up for lunch -.-"

New computer,a new lease of life
i finally got my new compaq desktop up and running and totally in love with it.
thanks to marce,si rong & nigel for helping me to do up the com.
i'm a complete tech idiot as seeing how i had to drag engchua to buy a psp with me cos i darn scared i'd get scammed.
yeah i had to drag marce + the class guys through the IT fair to determine for me which is a good com.
i gave up on the HP one cos it was out of stock so we got the compaq one instead.
it's relative good,quad processor + 4GB ram + 22" monitor & 500GB HD.
wohoo! i had a rad time playing pet society cos it's uber fast now.
NO MORE laggy racing hurdles!
and no more hanging of IE cos it's just plain lousy hahaha.
my old com i mean.
met marce in town after going to recruit express.
nope,still no job so yeah. jobless :( boo.
met nigel at kino after that and we went to sim lim cos marce wanted to get more PS3 games.
blew $155 on 2 new games and we headed to bugis to meet si rong to makan at MoF.
uber delish stone fried rice.
i almost died and went to food paradise!
they all came over to my place to help me set up my new com and to get the old one over to si rong's hse to reformat for my cousin.
but anw now that the com is up and running,i'm totally in love with my com haha!

New Template
hello everybody hahaha!
yes after that assholtic template gave me probs again,switched to this template.
still find the font abit small but it'll do for now till i figure out how to edit it further.
went to watch dragonball evolution with paedo today after tuition.
it was alright i guess for a non DB fan haha.
i carn say for confessions of a shopaholic tho.
it's on my nuffnag ad btw,pls click click click!
yeah it'll prob fall below my standards once more having loved the book so much i reread it twice or something.
any kind soul wanna get me the entire set of books?
cos i rented them back then hahaha.
becky bloomwood is a british girl so i didn't understand why they got isla fisher to play her.
no offence i LOVE isla fisher esp in definitely,maybe.

Jobless and out
rarhhhhhs yes,still jobless.
nothing much lately except been going down to help my mum's friend work at OG.
HAHA yes tak glam i know,but i need the money.
so yeah it's quite interesting to work there.
cos in the few times i've worked there i've seen:
1. a bapok. a manly one that dresses like a girl.shehe can walk in 4 inch high heels yet i, a female, cannot do so without whining about the pain in my feet after 2 hours.
2. sugar daddies. yes,singaporean men with women from you-know-where. it's chinatown for god's sake! they have no qualms about spending hundred over dollars for stupid bags/wallets and yet they do not even want to contribute to their own families' expenditure. weird huh?
3. old aunties. loads of them. omg it's like -.-"
retail is darn tiring cos there's nowhere you can sit and you have to be standing all at one go for 8 hours.
good thing for me is that mum can just come down any moment to acc me to pass the time.
it's uber boring when there are no customers!
mum's friend is really nice cos she upped my pay ytd hahaha XD
marce says it's still darn little but to me i'm contented la.
in such an economy when ppl like us diploma grads (hahah no cert yet tho!) carn even get a job,we shld all be thankful for anything that lands on our laps.
speaking of which,I SAW TAN YY WITH HIS WIFE AT OG!
yes totally cldn't recognise him cos he lost the shanghai tan hair and chose to adopt a floppy fringe.
but by the way he walked,can tell it's him la lol.
i was hiding behind the counter when i saw him but obv he din rec me :D
yeah now still got nothing to do at home except to scour the web for more temp jobs.
sent in so many resumes i think the people must be like 'this paula is damn annoying la. sent in another resume!'
like damn sai la,send so many in oso bo reply.
i used 2 diff copies: the simple and bare CV and the CSW one hahaha!
that one got more content so yeah,just sent it in la.
maybe can up my chances of landing a job.
i still have so many things not done yet rarh!
to do list:
1. get a temp job to fit in all my tuition schedules. so that means must get some admin job.
2. clean my room! it still resembles a tsunami zone. i cannot see the floor in front of me :(
3. clear out my wardrobe. overflowing as usual. must get rid of all of them! maybe sell to karang guni man oso not bad.
4. start my driving lessons. YES! haven't started. these few days feeling damn lazy to go and call the instructor la. i asked benjy for his instructor's contact lol! he passed on 2nd try so maybe i got chance la :D
5. bake bake bake! wohoo~ so many new reciepes to try out. maybe one day i'll scam my mum to the supermarket and buy everything at one go. saves me from forking out my own cash hehe.
6. fix up my new com. i love my new com! it's big and fast. unlike my antique one. grahs. shall go and update it for my stupid cousin and give it to him at grandma hse cos she sponsered my com (: got it from the IT fair on friday like damn last minute. yes,squeezed with all the assholes who have no qualms on stomping on my toes or pushing me with their fat arms. damn irritated but nevertheless,marce helped me carried it home. having a bf is so convenient! pls dun tell him hahah.
last friday brunch with classmates at MS swensen's before watching marley & me.
i miss those twits la!

HSBC Women's Championship
yes i have disappeared from the virtual society for a good 4 days because i was working at the hsbc women's championship at tanah merah country club.
no,dun say i very good got job cos i'm now jobless once again :(
just that last minute a very nice friend intro me the job so i went for it.
last minute was really last minute,like the night before 9pm?
next morning 8.15am start liao. damn zai i tell you.

anw monday went for briefing & collect uniform.
damn awkward cos i didn't know anyone there at all.
i swear! i don't even know the in charge personally.
so after briefing ended started to pack stuff for the gift redemption.
it was my 1st time at TMCC cos i don't play golf for shit.
until this event i didn't know wat does a birdie or par mean ok.
i still don't btw LOL.
yeah worked at the hexagon suite where all the shit ass VIPs come in la.
even the golfers come in too!
in 4 days i met natalie gulbis,lorena ochoa,se ri pak,jiyai shin,suzann petterson,cristie kerr and the ultimate: PAULA CREAMER!

this has been a really tiring yet wonderful experience for me la.

damn fulfilling my week has been as well cos on saturday marce had his 21st bday celebration at his hse.
i was late la cos i knocked off qt late that day.
went to collect the cake from awfully chocolate at katong mall before going to his place.
by then not much appetite to eat so i just eat abit and went to mingle with his friends.
yes,friends whom i've heard of yet never spoken to!
it was quite an experience.
sat with all the girls & just talked abt everything la.
from giving birth to korean to all sorts of shit pls.
funny as hell!
after that went to cut cake and all before starting our texas poker :D
then played in between before i KO on his bed cos i had work the next day.

OUR Post Valentine Celebration (:
haha yay i've unofficially graduated from SP :D
ok kinda sad cos i've nth to do right now but yeah.
exam was -.-" i carn believe it's over alr omg.
marce and i had our post vday celebration on sat (:
...and we went to the zoo!
slept darn late the night before cos i was discussing the HK trip with sinhui.
so slept at 4am and woke up at 7.30.
showered then realised my bf kept hanging ard at the door.
HAHA he bought me flowers and i didn't realise for 30 mins la!
i love my flowers (: both of them haha!
so i walked out of my house hastily cos that monkey keep rushing me.
then suddenly realised there was something outside my door!
ta-dahhhhhhhh!
LOL then i was guessing wat it was so i went back in with marce to open it.
he kept saying 'your crumpler is so dirty la'
referring to my red ugly crumpler lol.
i still haven't gotten ard to washing it since 2004! shhh.
anw i guessed it was a crumpler cos i've been telling him i want to get a new one cos the red one is freaking old liao.
and i got this design instead :D
yeah totally surprised cos i thot he'd get me the usual sling bag kind.
in the end it was the tote version.
'look more girl girl' according to my bf la haha!
after that finally head off to the zoo.
didn't take 138 from AMK cos mum said it was damn long so we went to take the train to CCK and take the bus from there.
camwhore on the train!
went lot 1 to eat LJS breakfast cos very hungry la lol.
after that waited for a good 30 mins for that f-ing bus at the bus interchange.
think at least 5 buses from the next row came before ours did -.-"
poor service can bloody hell.
reached the zoo then just walked in la.
i used my new bag immediately!

so marce & i saw the pamphlet to try the kenko fish spa at the zoo for $5 for 10 mins.
they said it was for students but scam $ one,for students under 12 years old.
like wtf? but we tried the adult version for $10 hahah! not incl gst mind u.
damn act hero both of us.
they made us wash our feet first then go sit by the pond thingy.
